Welcome to our new website.

iPhone Repair Base have a new website and we explain why. Apple has BANNED our previous site. We lost more than £20000, but no worries we are still alive. 🙂

Due to repeated attacks from Apple, we are forced to change the logo and domain name of our business that has been operating for 9 years.

A year ago, Apple has banned the advertisements of all third-party iPhone repair services on Google. So that ONLY they can repair iPhones.

Replacing the screen of an iPhone 5S with an original Apple screen costs £25 in our iPhone Repair Base shop. While it costs over five times as much, £132.44, at Apple. It is as if Ford would set the condition that only their official partners may replace the battery in Ford vehicles. Anyone else advertising to replace batteries in Ford models would have their ads banned and their operation rendered impossible by the company. The garage would replace it for £50, while Ford would do it for £250. Who would benefit from this? Only Ford, obviously. apple banned website analytics

Update (25 Sept 2020)

Apple has banned our Facebook adverts. From today we can't advert on Facebook either. I have tried to comment on a Google Ads advert on Facebook and I have got a message:

This was my comment:
This was my comment: "HELLO google, how can I advertise on google, please??????? A year ago, Apple has BANNED the advertisements of all third-party iPhone repair services on google. So that only they can repair iPhones. Do you think is this fair? THIS IS VERY-VERY BAD and DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!Facebook is exactly the same!!!! We have a business but we can't advertise it on google and Facebook!!!!!! Apple wants to ruin the repair services for the bigger profit and to sell more new iPhones."

I don't know what is the problem with that?

Apple vs. iPhone Repair Base

Apple is an extremely profit-driven company.

Over the past 9 years, more than 300 phones were brought or sent to our shop from all over the UK. Which Apple deemed unrepairable, and suggested that a new iPhone should be bought instead. In the majority of these cases, the phones could be repaired for less than £50, and not only the phones became operational again, but we also managed to save the data stored on them including the photos and personal information of our clients.

We could give countless similar examples to them trying to trick the client into buying a new phone. But even though the problem in question could easily be solved with a software update, a reset, or a 10-minute part replacement.

Not to mention the audio issue of iPhones 7 and 7 Plus, which is clearly due to a manufacturer fault, and which is encountered by many iPhone 7 and 7 Plus owners.

Over the past 3 years!

iPhone Repair Base has repaired more than 200 phones with an audio chip issue, because Apple does not take responsibility for its own mistake. Learn more about this problem here.

It seems that our small repair service is too successful for Apple. As even though there are thousands of websites using the Apple logo or the iPhone / Apple words in their domain name, Apple wants to get our website banned. We were notified that our website will be deleted in 48 hours. We have not received a warning or request to stop using the Apple logo or the iPhone word prior to this. They do not hold a court order; they just decided to act as omnipotent gods and take away our website on which we have spent tens of thousands of pounds over the years.

Instead of threatening us, that in 48 hours you will shut our web page down (where would I find a good web developer to help us out in 48 hours with a 20 hours job?). You could have asked us nicely to change our logo to what is similar, but not identical to the apple logo. Instead of this, you threaten us!

What Apple did was disgusting!

There is something else that disgusted us about apple: the fact that they are trying to destroy our business when a lot of businesses are struggling due to COVID-19. They are using this as an excuse at this difficult time, to get rid of a weakened competition.

If you had asked me nicely to change the logo and other things as well with a 2 weeks deadline, I would have written to you this: Dear Apple, I do apologize that I violated your rights, I will do my best to rectify all these in the given 2 weeks.

So, of course, this will not stop us from continuing to repair our clients’ iPhones for a fifth of the price, without applying the outrageous profit margins of Apple.😊

Here’s a shortlist of other websites that are allowed to operate without a problem. Or could they be the next to be blacklisted so that Apple can destroy small businesses to satisfy its own greed for profit?
